Knowledge and Experience:
· 5 – 6 years Accounting Experience
Finance qualification – diploma/degree preferred
Logistics industry knowledge an advantage
Excellent communication and people skills
Good knowledge of accounting concepts
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in MS office – especially excel
Knowledge of Cargowise (an advantage)
Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance and regulatory functions are effectively, accurately and efficiently managed
Process and manage invoices and credit notes
Communicate with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies
Emailing final document pack to clients
· Initiate and ensure that all queries are resolved timeously
Support in maintaining a smooth operational workflow
· Daily and monthly reporting uninvoiced shipments
· Ad-hoc duties
