Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:
Year 12 or equivalent
Diploma / Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Finance (advantageous)
At least 10 years’ experience in international logistics (or related)
Knowledgeable in all aspects of logistics – imports/ exports, clearing, forwarding, deliveries and warehousing
In-depth commercial understanding of profitability (freight rate, transport and invoice line-item negotiation per file)
Hands-on operational experience would be preferable
Computer experience required:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Internet Usage
CargoWise experience is crucial
Responsibilities:
End to end freight co-ordination
Intelligent strong client interface and management a priority
Ensure good quality control and strong client communications
Managing all aspects of forwarding, import clearing
Extension Business Revenue Generation
Route Development
Customer Advice and Support
Generate Proposals where required
Target Driven Extension Business
Present Company Profile
Control all aspects of liaison and interface with the Customers
Handle all customer queries
Debtors Queries
Customer Advice and support
Team participation and assistance
Service Level agreements
Rate negotiations
Costing and Invoice Quality Check
